TREBLE CLEF MATCH-UP & MUSIC SYMBOL MATCH-UP are memory-style games that will reinforce your students’ knowledge of basic music symbols and treble clef note names. Each game is presented in two formats. The Print & Play documents are designed for small group use. The PowerPoint format is designed to be used as a team game with your entire class. In TREBLE CLEF MATCH-UP, students must match a note on a music staff with its letter name. In MUSIC SYMBOL MATCH-UP, students must match a music symbol with its printed name. The small group games are great when you have students who finish work early and need something to do for a few minutes. I use the TREBLE CLEF MATCH-UP Print & Play cards when I am doing individual assessments on recorders. Suggested uses for the PowerPoint format are: Substitute Plan, Game Day Activity or End of Class Activity.
