This song was written for my daughter Kallie. When I wrote it, she was a very active 3-year-old who was always full of energy, but she had a way of melting my heart when she gave me hugs. When it is time to go to bed, she is always wanting to get up and struggles to get to sleep, so I thought it would be appropriate to write her a lullaby. Throughout the song, you'll hear the faster notes that represent her energy and desire to squeeze every moment out of every day.
